Every option in DevSweep's Settings window and what it changes.
Open Settings from the DevSweep menu, or press ⌘,.
Folders to search for projects
One folder per line. ~ means your home folder. DevSweep walks these looking for node_modules, Pods, build folders and the like.
The default is ~. Inside it, DevSweep skips Library, Applications, Pictures, Music, Movies and hidden folders. Add external drives here if your projects live on one, for example /Volumes/Work.
Preselect project folders untouched for
The number of days after which a project’s dependency and build folders count as Safe and are selected for you. Default: 30.
Large files
The smallest size a file in Downloads, Desktop, Documents or Movies needs to be listed. Default: 200 MB.
Dry run
When on, Clean lists what it would remove and removes nothing. See How cleaning works.
Check for updates when DevSweep opens
On by default. DevSweep reads one small file from this site and shows a banner when a newer version exists. Turn it off and you can still check from DevSweep → Check for Updates…. See Privacy and updates.
