Command line

Run a read-only scan from Terminal and check the app's own parsers.

The app binary has two Terminal modes. Neither opens a window or removes anything.

Scan report

/Applications/DevSweep.app/Contents/MacOS/DevSweep --scan

Prints each place with its total and its largest items, their label and when you last used them, using your Settings. Handy for seeing what DevSweep would show before you trust the app with a clean, or over SSH.

Self-test

/Applications/DevSweep.app/Contents/MacOS/DevSweep --selftest

Checks the parts most likely to break: Docker size parsing, project naming, version comparison, and that a clean moves a file to the Trash (it uses a one-byte temporary file, which ends up in your Trash).
